Chibok 200: Fuji star, Muri Thunder calls for urgent
action
Fuji star, Muri Thunder,
has thrown his weight behind the call for the urgent rescue of the 200 girls
who were kidnapped by Boko Haram in the town of Chibok, Borno State recently.
In a statement signed by
his manager and boss of Papa Sly Entertainment, Sylvester Okhade, Muri Thunder
said: “This is most unfortunate. Weeks after the incidence, the girls have not
been rescued and the authorities have no clue as to where they are. I am
calling on the relevant security agencies to do all within their capacity to
rescue these innocent girls so they could be reunited with their families as
soon as possible. My heart goes out to all the affected families in this most
trying moment.”
According to him, it was
sad that billions of dollars was recently spent by the international community
to locate the debris of Malaysian flight HN 370 while no attempt by the
international community has been made to track the over 200 girls.
“I believe that the children
are our future. We must treat them right. Nigerians want answers. Please President
Goodluck Jonathan, you must throw in everything in your arsenal to make sure
these kids are rescued,” Muri told Tonyogagablog.
