BUCHI, RIGHTEOUSMAN, OTHERS ON PARADE AS UNCLE ZIKO UNLEASHES HIS GRACE ALBUM

After months of hard work and research, Reggae act, Uncle Ziko is set to drop a brand new album entitled His Grace on Sunday, October 2 ,   at GPA Auditorium, Aboaba Afilaka Avenue, off Collage Road, Ogba, Lagos. In a chat with Tonyogagablog, Uncle Ziko said: “I am glad to inform my fans that all is set for my album launch. It is a collectors' item. I am calling on all my fans to get a copy of the best reggae album of the year. His Grace is an evergreen album. “All the songs in the album were produced by legendary Chris Okoro and this album is released under my record label, FAYADEM MEDIA and marketed by CLEEMAC MUSIC. Uncle Ziko started music with a group called The Mentors in his native Imo state. However, the group broke up and they all went solo after which he relocated to Lagos and hooked up with Kelly Ranks and they jointly released an album in 2001. UNCLO ZIKO LOSES DAD

Reggae music act, Uncle Ziko is bereaved! The singer lost his dad recently after a protracted illness and insiders say the act is devastated. Late Chinekezie Inyama, an indigene of Akurubi Uti in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of Imo State died at the ripe age of 107. At the time of his death he was the oldest man in the village. “This is really a sad time for me because I was very close to my dad. I will miss him for a very long time. My joy is that I know that he is in the bosom of our Lord. I will also remember him for his large heart and sense of humour,” Uncle Ziko told Tonyogagablog. Uncle Ziko started music with a group called The Mentors in Imo State and released an album in2001 after which he went solo, released an album and shot some videos. However he had to take a break to repackage himself. Now he is poised to return to centre stage with his new gospel reggae album featuring Buchi and Righteousman.

MICHAEL POUNDS DROPS YAHWEH

UK based fast rising gospel musician, Michael Pounds, has released a brand new single entitled Yahweh. In a chat with Entertainer the gospel act who started singing at the age of eight said that the response for Yahweh has been overwhelming: "The response has been great and I am calling on all my fans to watch out for my latest single Yahweh." Commenting on how he gets inspiration for his songs he said: "I get inspiration mostly during my prayer time and when I am in my bathroom. What inspired Yahweh was that I had two horrible accidents last year and this year. I lost two very valuable cars but not my life. Consequently, I wandered why all that happened to me and I couldn't praise God for a couple of days. I finally drew strength from communing with God and while I struggled to praise Him this song started coming to me. Yahweh be praised forever.”  So, when will the full album drop? ALL SET FOR 1ST ANNUAL SEDDY TEMITOPE EMPOWERMENT SERIES/BEAUTY PRODUCTS UNVEILING

ASIKEY DROPS DEBUT EP, HUMAN

Following the successful release of her debut single, Let Us Be, fast rising act, Asikey is set to drop her EP entitled Human. Commenting, the singer said: "Fans should expect captivating music videos to accompany the audio releases. Keep an eye out for the official track listing of the EP which would be made known on my social media platforms very soon." Human is a seven-track EP as well as Asikey's debut compilation since her signing to Pendulum Records Ltd in March  2015.  Human consists of songs in Afro-pop, alternative-rock, and soul genres. The EP currently has a release date in October which would be officially announced soon.
