Fast rising actress, Oma Iyasara, has declared that she has never experienced sexual harassment. In a chat with Entertainer, Oma, who starred alongside Melvin Oduah in a steamy scene in Don Kwaffy’s Triangle said: “My elder sister once told me that you dress the way you want to be addressed. Your manner and carriage determines how people will deal with you. “There is no part of our society where it does not exist. In the banking world females are sent out as official prostitutes to win accounts. In the teaching industry it happens. It even happens in churches. So sex is everywhere and not just in Nollywood. I have not had any experience I guess because I have carried myself well.” On how she pulled of her steamy role in Triangle, Oma said: “What I do is that when I get a role I give life to the character, I animate it. I give it life. I read the whole scripts to get a broader picture.”

Alibaba presents car to winner of spontaneity

  Godfather of Nigerian comedy, Alibaba, has officially unveiled the top three last men standing at his annual comedy show, spontaneity. They are Dewone(Adebayo Adedayo), Emeakpore Ofajevwe (Short Family) and Tolulope Olayiwola. The event, which took place at his office, located in Lekki, Lagos, last week Wednesday, also had in attendance top comedians. Presenting the car keys to the winner, Dewone, Alibaba said: “There is need for comedians to step up their game. Stand up comedy is the most challenging art form because you get immediate reaction. The holy grail of comedy is spontaneity which is the ability of a comedian to take the mic and just entertain. Anything you give to him is material and I felt that we need to inculcate this in up-and-coming comedians. “This platform is designed to empower the younger generations.   Tinsel star, Oghenekaro Itene, is back with a new one. After a successful showing on the set of Glass House, she has hooked up with Lancelot Oduwa Imasuen for a new flick where she would be handling make up. Commenting on the new project which kicked off last Thursday in Lagos, Oghenekaro said: “Most people don’t know that I also do makeup for movies. In fact, I am the CEO of Kadia Makeovers. Ronke Ademiluyi still shocked by marriage rumours

  Founder, African Fashion Week London and African Fashion Week Nigeria, Ronke Ademiluyi, is still shocked over rumours which went viral recently that the recently appointed Ooni of Ife was about to take her as second wife. Waje’s daughter comes of age

  Recently, vocal power house, Wake, got a shocker from her daughter, Emerald Ogochukwu, when she requested that her daughter, who clocked 16 last year join her in bed. To her shock, her teenage daughter had turned her down insisting that she preferred her own room. Obviously shocked, Waje had taken to twitter and posted the following message: “What's with these teenagers? Come and sleep in mums room with mum and I get "No"! Why? She says I like my room. Outgrowing me already?” Waje, just take it easy, the young shall grow. Waje   celebrated her birthday in grand style last year when she turned 16. She presented her with customised necklace and posted a message on social media stating that march 28, the day she was born is the most beautiful day of her life.

None of my kids taking after me-Alibaba

  Godfather of comedy and organiser, Spontaneity, a platform designed to discover and nurture fresh talent in comedy, Ali Baba, has revealed that none of his kids is taking after him “None of my kids is taking after me,” Alibaba said in a chat with Entertainer recently at his office complex in Lekki, Lagos, during the presentation of a car gift to the winner of the first edition of spontaniety.  “However if you are talking about taking after me in sports, artworks and painting, then they are taking after me. “My daughter paints, another sings and is a broadcaster, one writes and another is into fashion. They all have a sense of humour but not commercially.” Having inspired generations of comedians, why is none of his kids is taking after him? “They initially did not think that it was a business worthy going into but they have a great sense of humour and that’s as far as it goes. It’s not like they are looking to become the next Ali Baba, no.”

At last, Danku reacts to Oritsefemi’s allegations

  Says: I made Oritsefemi Oritsefemi and danku pix After months of silence, Oritsefemi’s ex-manager, Danku, has finally reacted to allegations levelled against him by self styled musical Taliban, Oritsefemi. In an exclusive chat with Entertainer, Danku declared that without him, Oritsefemi would still be in the ghettos of Ajegunle. Danku made the declaration last week in a chat with Entertainer during 9ice’s birthday celebration. “Oritsefemi is an artiste that I took from nowhere and made somebody.   Following his release last week Monday, January 11, by EFCC officials, entertainment practitioners have being expressing their massive support for the DG of Nigerian Broadcasting Service (NBC), Emeka Mba, who was arrested over allegations of embezzlement of public funds to the tune of N15b. “I am extremely happy at the release of Mr. Mba. N100m fraud: Crisis set rock PMAN as Zimakoy petitions AIG

A fresh round of crisis is rocking the Association of Performing Musicians of Nigeria (PMAN), as the association’s treasurer,  Harris Ibezim Okeilo aka Dr. Zimakoy, has petitioned the Assistant Inspector General of Police (AIG), Zone 2, over alleged criminal activities regarding the accounts of the association. In a telephone chat with Entertainer, the actress confirmed reports on social media that she was tying the knot in 2016. However, the boobs star refused to shed light on plans for the nuptials. “Yes it’s very true. I am getting married this year and I’m so excited! The reports are for real.
