REAL REASON FUJI ARTISTES EARN LESS THAN HIP HOP ARTISTES-MURI THUNDER

Fuji star, Muri Thunder, has opened up on why fuji artistes don’t earn as much as their hip hop counterparts. Muri Thunder who only last week dropped a brand new album entitled There Is God declared that the reason was due to poor packaging on the part of majority of fuji musicians. “Fuji is grassroots and we can’t deny that but it has to be packaged and taken to the mainstream. COLLECTIVE ADMINISTRATION: PMAN SENDS SOS TO JONATHAN, TAMBUWAL

The Performing Musicians’ Employers’ Association of Nigeria (PMAN), has sent an SOS to President Goodluick Jonathan and Honourable, Aminu Tambuwal, Speaker, House of Representatives, calling for the immediate liberalization of collective administration in Nigeria. In two separate letters, PMAN disclosed that it has written series of letters to the Nigerian Copyright Commission (NCC), and the Honourable Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mohammed Bello Adoke (SAN) on the issue but had received no response. HOPE AS PMAN CARETAKER COMMITTEE GETS TRADE UNION APPROVAL

Hope is finally here as a major breakthrough in the decades’ old controversy rocking the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), was achieved recently when the PMAN Caretaker Committee, led by Kevin Lucciano Gabriel, got the endorsement of the Registrar of Trade Unions with a mandate to take over the affairs of the union and reunite it. A statement confirming the development signed by the Chairman of its Care Taker Committee, Kevin Lucciano Gabriel read thus: “The PMAN Caretaker Committee, in concert with the Registrar of Trade unions in Nigeria and the Federal Ministry of Labour and Productivity, wish to bring to public notice that the prolonged leadership battle that engulfed the activities of the Performing Musicians Association of Nigeria (PMAN), has been laid to rest.
