Today, Wednesday, November
18, comedian, Julius D’Genius Agwu, the CEO Julius Agwu Foundation Inc. Worldwide,
in conjunction with his management company, Bishop Entertainment Consult LLC,
would be giving back to Riverdale, a community the rib cracker describes that as
one that has given so much and played host to one of the most culturally
diverse communities in the State of Georgia, through his charity and gospel
comedy show, Laff 4 Christ’s Sake, which holds at the Riverdale City Hall, Church
Street, Atlanta, Georgia.
Commenting, the rib
cracker, who recently survived a brain surgery said: “We have partnered with
the office of the Mayor of Riverdale to give back to the community by donating
250 turkeys to families living in the city of Riverdale. “Also, we are
not forgetting the men and women in uniform who continue to keep the community
safe, especially during the holiday season. They are all coming out to
celebrate as well as receive a turkey for Thanksgiving.
“This is our way of saying
thank you to a community that has given so much of its time and resources to
the diverse cultures that lives within it. This community has supported
small and medium scale businesses while promoting peaceful co-existence.”
The event will be attended
by the Mayor of Riverdale, leadership of the city’s security outfits and its
fire department including council men, religious leaders, politicians and civil
rights leaders.
