Coming
on the heels of his successful recovery from brain surgery earlier in the year,
comedian, Julius Agwu, is poised to set up Nigeria’s first nite club for
Christians christened The Tabernacle.
The
rib cracker made this disclosure at his home recently in Lagos during an exclusive
chat with Entertainer: “God has been so nice to me he saved me from imminent
death and restored me and so as from this point on in my career I want to use
my talent and everything I have to serve my creator maximally.”
Unveiling
plans for the club which should kick-off early next year, Agwu who recently
held a thanks giving service at This Present Church, Lekki continued: “
Who says Christians can’t dance, hang out and have fun? Who says that because
you’re a Christian you can’t listen to good music? Right now I am wrapping up
plans for Nigeria’s first Christian Nite Club, a platform were Christians can
come together and have fun. It’s going to be called The Tabernacle. I am
calling on all Christians and God fearing people to watch out! I have spoken to
a couple of A list artistes and they are very much interested.”
