MOBILE ENTERTAINMENT: BLACKDRUM TV PARTNERS CHISCO TRANSPORT

Blackdrum TV, an experiential event company, has inked a multi-million naira deal with one of Nigeria’s biggest transport companies, Chisco Transport, a deal which would revolutionalise travelling experience for road travelers.
Commenting, Emmanuel Odole, the CEO of Blackdrum 360, the parent company of Blackburn TV, described the deal as ground breaking: “This is groundbreaking! We have just launched a partnership with Chisco Transport christened Vehicle Entertainment Service (VES). We are poised to provide entertainment on all Chisco Transport busses travelling across the West African sub region.
“As you very well know, Chisco Transport is one of the biggest transport platforms in the country and the entire West African sub-region and we are excited about this opportunity because now, passengers have an opportunity to be thoroughly entertained with premium and compelling content while travelling.
“Before now it was sleeping all the way or just chatting and disturbing passengers. With this development, passengers don’t have to do that anymore as they would be entertained and educated. That’s one of the new innovations that Blackdrum TV has deployed,” Odole added.
Currently in its pilot stage, Odole says the the vision is to partner other transpiration companies in the country as Blackdrum TV is in the process of locking down deals with other major players in the Nigerian transport space.
“Blackdrum covers events, comedy, modern culture, technology, music and more. Our content is carefully selected for maximum viewing pleasure. They are engaging, personal, smart and connected” Odole added stating that the mission is to help people find and enjoy African premium video/audio content when, where and how they want it.
“Our hyper-connected audience gets the vast majority of its entertainment, information and social connections through the internet and mobile phones. Our content is designed for passionate committed fans who want to watch shows that entertain, educate and help expand their life experiences. They also want to watch shows whenever they want, wherever they are, and on whatever device they choose,” Odole revealed.
Blackdrum TV is an online media platform that offers African hit TV shows, movies, news, music videos and audio clips on the internet and mobile phones all over the world. It was the brains behind the successful streaming of Felabration 2014 and is poised to stream comedian, Koffi’s latest tagged Koffi Loses Control.
