How I met my fiancé-Don Kwaffy

Set up to promote the creative arts by focusing on music, movies, charity and documentaries, Snow City Entertainment is carving a niche for itself in Nollywood. According to its CEO, Don Kwaffy, the vision is to give millions of talented Nigerians a voice. In this chat with Entertainer, Don Kwaffy opens up on the vision and how he proposed to his fiancée and his plans for 2016. He also talked about his movie, Triangle, which premiered last year.
Excerpts:

What should we expect from Snow City entertainment in 2016?
2015 was very interesting. Apart from Triangle premiere, we engaged tirelessly in consulting and laying foundations to keep the Snow City flag flying. This year, apart from another blockbuster coming your way soon, Snow City is going to lunch Snow City Foundation, a platform dedicated to bringing succour to prison inmates.

In 2015 you premiered your first movie, Triangle, how is it doing?
Triangle is doing well. Snow City Entertainment sold the Internet rites to Ibaka TV, an online platform. It has attracted over 120, 000 views on YouTube and set to hit Mnet in March 2016. It's been amazing beyond my expectations.

You recently proposed to your fiancé outlandishly. How did you guys meet?
We were childhood friends. We’ve known each other for almost 20years and have dated for ‎almost five years. I think she's the best for me.

Tell us about your charity work with IDPS in Abuja?
Snow City Foundation has been reaching out to IDPs in Wasa, Abuja. We discovered the camp when nobody knew a good number of Nigerians were dying in hunger and pain. It took the wisdom of Dr Kenneth Ibe-kalu to mobilize to give them hope. Dr Kenneth Ibe Kalu mobilized all of us and we mobilize others too and by God's grace, we have been able to provide them with sports facilities and health care. We have made so many other donations to the camp, Hugiano Group run by Dr Kenneth Ibe-kalu and Snow City Foundation.

What are your‎ dreams and we're will we see Snow City Entertainment in five years time?

In five years time Snow City Entertainment should be a reference point in the industry. I intend to pursue this dream by divine direction and guidance. Snow City Entertainment should be a world class brand for music, movies, charity and documentaries across the globe.
