HOW I GOT NOLLYWOOD BREAK - JOSEPH BENJAMIN

Once upon a time he was a starry eyed wannabe but today, he is one of Nollywood’s most sought after actors. Actor, Joseph Benjamin has declared that indeed it was rough and tough when he came into Nollywood in 1995.
Speaking with Entertainer recently, Benjamin advised upcoming artistes to hold on to their dreams even in the face of difficulties.
“I remember my first movie was in 1995. It was a struggle for me but I kept pushing. I had tenacity and I didn't stop improving on myself.”
Another tip from the multi-talented artiste is that reading could help in enhancing one’s skills fast.
“Reading has helped my craft. It has helped me in building a sustainable brand. The only regret I have is that if I had known the things I know now, I would have moved faster. Everybody has a journey in life but what sustains you is your drive to succeed,” Benjamin added.
