AIFF 2015: HILDA DOKUBO, INI EDO, MERCY AIGBE SLUG IT OUT!

The Abuja International Film Festival (AIFF) has unveiled the list of nominees for the 12th edition which kicks-off October 27 at the Silverbird Entertainment Centre, Abuja.

And actresses Mercy Aigbe, Kiki Omeili,  Hilda Dokuboh, Ini Edo and Chidiebere Anaeke are set to slug it out in the category for Most Outstanding Actress 2015 as they go head to head.
Commenting,  Gbenga Andipe, spokesman for the College of Screeners said: “I am glad to inform you that the nominees list for 2015 is ready. The nominees were selected after a painstaking two weeks of screening of over 700 films from 39 countries. The screeners were made up of industry stakeholders including filmmakers and film critics who expressed appreciation with the improved quality of films especially from Nigeria.”
According to him: “Films were received in all the 14 categories which included features, short film, documentary, animation and experimental films. Winners will be announced at the festival’s glamorous award ceremony scheduled for the Silverbird Entertainment Centre, Abuja, on October 30.”

Beautiful actress, Angel Ufuoma, recently arrived Lagos from New York City after landing the lead role in Tony Abulu’s mega blockbuster, Superstar .
