As
the countdown to the 2015 general elections gather momentum, fuji music star,
Alhaji Sulaimon Alao Adekunle aka Malaika, has released the video for his new
track, Stop The Violence, featuring
self styled Musical Taliban,
Oritsefemi, Dude Tetsola and Cashson.
Commenting,
Makaika, who recently clocked 42 said: “Stop
The Violence is designed to motivate the youths of Nigeria and advice
them to eschew violence and stop killings in the country. They should not allow
themselves to be used by politicians as thugs during the forthcoming general
elections. I teamed up with Nigerian Rapper, Olamide, Little Kesh, Reminisce
and Jahbless for the video.”
Commenting
on plans for his 42nd birthday, the fuji star who jetted out of the
country a couple of days ago continued: “My birthday this year will not
take place in Nigeria. My fans in Dallas; United States, Amsterdam; Holland,
and Toronto; Canada are hosting me. The event will be fun.
“This
plans came up after my management decided that we should engage our fans in the
Diaspora for this year’s celebrations,” Malaika added.
And
as it is his tradition, Malaika will also visit motherless babies homes to
celebrate and gifts items and food stuffs would also be
distributed.
