Reggae music
act, Uncle Ziko is bereaved! The singer lost his dad recently after a
protracted illness and insiders say the act is devastated.
Late Chinekezie
Inyama, an indigene of Akurubi Uti in Ezinihitte Mbaise LGA of Imo State died
at the ripe age of 107. At the time of his death he was the oldest man in the
village.
“This is really
a sad time for me because I was very close to my dad. I will miss him for a
very long time. My joy is that I know that he is in the bosom of our Lord. I will also remember him for his large heart and sense of humour,”
Uncle Ziko told Tonyogagablog.
Uncle Ziko
started music with a group called The Mentors in Imo State and released an
album in2001 after which he went solo, released an album and shot some videos. However
he had to take a break to repackage himself. Now he is poised to return to centre
stage with his new gospel reggae album featuring Buchi and Righteousman.
