After months
of hard work and research, Reggae act, Uncle Ziko is set to drop a brand new
album entitled His Grace on Sunday, October 2, at GPA Auditorium, Aboaba Afilaka
Avenue, off Collage Road, Ogba, Lagos.
In a chat
with Tonyogagablog, Uncle Ziko said: “I am glad to inform my fans that all is
set for my album launch. It is a collectors' item. I am calling on all my fans
to get a copy of the best reggae album of the year. His Grace is an evergreen
album.
“All the
songs in the album were produced by legendary Chris Okoro and this album is
released under my record label, FAYADEM MEDIA and marketed by CLEEMAC MUSIC.
Uncle
Ziko started music with a group called The Mentors in his native Imo state.
However, the group broke up and they all went solo after which he relocated to
Lagos and hooked up with Kelly Ranks and they jointly released an album in 2001.
He later went solo, recorded an album and shot some videos.
Recalling
that period of his career he said: “Things were not really easy then so I
took a break to repackage myself and I have come back better and stronger with
this Reggae gospel album featuring Buchi and Righteousman in one song and Faya
in another song.”
