THE ROCK OF SALVATION MINISTRY MARKS 12TH ANNIVERSARY

Apostle Paul Amakhabi
The Rock of Salvation Ministry, Ijesha, Lagos, marked its 12th anniversary in grand style recently in Lagos in a five-day ceremony which attracted men of God.
The event witnessed deliverance sessions, prayer sessions and praise worship.
Commenting, the General Overseer of the church, Apostle Paul Amakhabi said: “First of all I will say we give God the glory. We have just celebrated our 12 year anniversary and it was an explosive experience. God has been so faithful and wonderful. It was a 5 day program which started on Tuesday, November 1 and ended on Sunday, November 6. Great and powerful men of God including Rev Ben Eragbai aka Jesus Soldier and Pastor Chuks Nwaokeke, General Overseer, Christ Link Assembly also ministered and souls were saved and lives were touched. It was an outpouring of the Holy Spirit.
“God has been merciful to us in no small measure and so we also used the opportunity to thank God for his numerous blessings,” Amakhabi added.
Commenting on how he started his ministry he continued: “We give God all the glory. I wasn't a believer when Jesus appeared to me April 1994 and gave me a divine instruction about the calling.
“After the revelation I told my wife and she said it was a divine calling but I was skeptical, ‘I was like my friend, go and sit down. I am not into all this, I don't want to preach or carry Bible. I want to make it big in business,” Amakhabi revealed.
However, six years later things became difficult and his wife began taking him to prayer houses because he couldn't make ends meet. However, where ever they went pastors told him that the reason for his suffering was that he was ignoring God’s calling.
“Where ever we went pastors would tell me that I had a calling and the sooner I yielded to God the better. They said I was the one delaying myself. They said that when I answer the calling, my fortune will change.”
Finally in 2000 he succumbed to the calling. Recalling the experience Amakhabi said: “I went back to Christ Link Assembly where the message was giving to me clearly and finally said yes, Lord, let your will be done.’ After answering the calling my story changed and today the rest is history,” Amakhabi concluded.
