TAXI DRIVER HEATS UP CINEMAS


Taxi Driver, a hilarious comedy drama about working in Lagos, which was released recently has continues to heat up cinemas.
Speaking on the movie, the director, Daniel Oriahi said: “Taxi Driver (Oko Ashewo) is a personal journal of my admiration for Lagos Island and its popular streets, from Igbosere road to Broad Street, CMS, Obalende and vibrancy of its people. I relied on my own experiences as a foreigner to Lagos to influence my approach in telling this story of a man’s journey in search of purpose.”
Featuring popular Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola, Femi Jacobs, , Saka and fast rising actress, Ijeoma Grace Agwu, Taxi Driver has continued to remain one of the favourites of Nigerian cinema goers.
A product of the collaboration between FilmOne Ltd, the production and distribution arm of FilmHouse, House5 Production and Orbit Imagery, the movie which has been in cinemas since November 13 is competing with Spectre.
