Taxi Driver, a hilarious comedy drama about working in Lagos, which was
released recently has continues to heat up cinemas.
Speaking on the movie, the director, Daniel Oriahi said: “Taxi Driver
(Oko Ashewo) is a personal journal of my admiration for Lagos Island and its popular
streets, from Igbosere road to Broad Street, CMS, Obalende and vibrancy of its
people. I relied on my own experiences as a foreigner to Lagos to influence my
approach in telling this story of a man’s journey in search of purpose.”
Featuring popular Yoruba actor, Odunlade Adekola, Femi Jacobs, , Saka
and fast rising actress, Ijeoma Grace Agwu, Taxi Driver has continued to remain
one of the favourites of Nigerian cinema goers.
