Ever
since Solange gave Jay Z a serious bashing in a New York elevator, the rumour
mills have not stopped churning out fresh tales of what triggered that
unceremonious event.
Even
though the couple released a statement to clear the air, the ghost of that
night continues to haunt the couple, especially Jay Z. Only last week, during
their On The Run Concert in Cincinnati, tour, Jay Z had done all he could to
clear the air when he performed only to have Beyonce throw a spanner in the
works when she changed the lyrics of her yet to be released song, Resentment leading fans to believe that
indeed, hip hop’s numero uno couple were at daggers drawn! And now, barely a
couple of days later, the woman rumoured to be Jay Z’s secret lover has been
unveiled.
Welcome
to the world of Mya, the woman rumoured to have triggered Solange’s bashing of
Jay z while his wife, Beyonce, watched and giggled.
And
Mya is denying the rumors that she has been Jay Z's secret mistress.
An Instagram user asked Mya directly recently if she was Jay's mistress and here’s what Mya posted: "Never did, never was, never will. Illegitimate, thirsty sources with no facts and that's the ‘media' for you-especially today. I play second to no one, pay my own bills, have my own label, own management company, rely on God only and respect myself and marriage too much for nonsense.
“False rumours are crafted for ratings and numbers. And miserable, unhappy people need someone to judge to deter the attention away from their own misery and feel better about their miserable lives. If they did it to Jesus, they'll do it to anyone. God bless."
